WHat’s On
The schedule of events for your day
at The Daylesford Highland Gathering.
The morning of Saturday 5th December 2026, the sound of 300 bagpipes and drums marching down Vincent St will awaken Daylesford to herald the opening of the Daylesford Highland Gathering, where thousands from all over Victoria and beyond come to celebrate all things Scottish.
The day's program continues at Victoria Park, with something for everyone.
You can continue to enjoy the music with the Daylesford Pipe Band Competition, wonder at the skill and endurance of the Victorian Highland Dance Championships, visit the Clan Tents, discover your heritage and connect with your Kin, or the cheer on mighty the VIC Highland Heavy Games, think caber tossing and hammer throw!
Plus this year we will be hosting the Barwon Academy of Arts, with their swordsmanship on show!
While you're here grab a haggis burger and stroll through our market full of Scottish wares, whiskey, hot food and sweet treats before visiting our Highland cattle and Highland breed dogs.
Even the wee bairns will be smiling with our designated Kidszone!
So gather the clan, and get your kilt on!
